The Soft Moon Announces New Album “Exister”

0

Luis Vasquez is back with his new album under the name of The Soft Moon To exist, the first under the name in four years. The album is set to be released on September 23 via Sacred Bones.

The album was recorded after Vasquez left Berlin and moved to Joshua Tree during the lockdown. “I always complained that I never had enough freedom to do whatever I wanted,” Vasquez says. “This time I literally had everything at my disposal.” He adds: “The goal of this disc was to share all the emotions that I feel. No two songs are the same. It’s about existing in the world as a human being and experiencing many emotions and experiences throughout life.

As a preview of the upcoming album, Vasquez shared lead single “Him,” a collaboration with fish narc. “‘Lim’ recounts this battle, expressing the turmoil it brings to my life.”
