Pittsburgh’s favorite fast-talking Tupperware lady will take the stage at the Byham Theater on October 29

Dixie Longate returns to Pittsburgh for a single day with her new show Dixie Longate: CHERRY BOMBS & BOTTLE ROCKETS. Join America’s favorite southern redhead on her very first stand-up show where she talks about everything from Loretta Lynn to alien abductions in this fast-paced delivery that made her an international sensation.

Pittsburgh has previously seen Dixie Longate at CLO Cabaret in the fan-favorite DIXIE’S TUPPERWARE PARTY and virtual DIXIE’S HAPPY HOUR which aired in 2020 during the height of COVID-19. Dixie Longate: CHERRY BOMBS & BOTTLE ROCKETS will be presented at the Byham Theater while the Greer Cabaret Theater is undergoing renovations.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dixie back to Pittsburgh, this time at the Byham Theater,” said CLO executive producer Mark Fleischer. “Dixie fans will love this new stand-up-style comedy from Pittsburgh’s favorite Tupperware lady.”

Have you ever woken up one morning at 2:30 p.m. to find that there’s a global pandemic that’s shutting down your kids’ schools so you have to raise them yourself? What kind of nonsense is this? It is in these moments of crisis that we really discover what we are made of. If there’s one thing we all have in common, it’s that we’re fundamentally different people than we were just two years ago. What have you learned? What have you tried? How did you cope? What was the weight of your basket among all the empty bottles? When life seems to be getting too crazy and the world is shitting on your lawn, it’s time to put on your big girl boots, grab your breakfast vodka and fire up some CHERRY BOMBS & BOTTLE ROCKETS. There’s nothing better than stepping into your new self in style! This show contains adult content.

Dixie Longate: Cherry Bombs & Bottle Rockets is made possible by the Michael J. Kara family.
