Muse shares new song “Will Of The People” and announces theater tour


Muse gave us another sneak peek at their upcoming album with their new song “Will of the People.”

“”Will of the People” is a fictional story set in a fictional metaverse on a fictional planet ruled by a fictional authoritarian state run by a fictional algorithm manifested by a fictional data center running a fictional bank printing a fictional currency controlling a population fictional city occupying a fictional town containing a fictional apartment where a fictional man woke up one day and thought ‘fuck this’,” says frontman Matt Bellamy.

In the song’s accompanying video, directed by Tom Teller, a group of masked activists roam a desolate city destroying statues, tagging security cameras and invading the Ministry of Truth. The group eventually heads to the desert where the busts of Muse are cut down and turned to dust.

Muse also announced a limited number of theater shows in Europe and North America scheduled for October. The brief run includes stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Paris and Milan. Check out all the dates below.

The band says: “We had such a great time at our recent charity shows at the Apollo in London last month that we wanted to play some of these types of small theaters that we hadn’t played in a long time in the States. United and Europe before. we are going on tour in 2023.

Pre-sale codes for European shows will be given to fans who have pre-ordered the new Will of the People disc. The presale begins Tuesday, June 21 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Meanwhile, the North American presale will be available to fan club members on Wednesday, June 22 at 10 a.m. local time. General tickets go on sale June 24.
